I am double board-certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry.  I created this organization to transform the way mental health is viewed and treated. I believe in the integration of mind, body, and spirit, and that a holistic, individualized approach is imperative for healing. I unify research and traditional medicine with compassion and ancient wisdom. I am passionate about working with both children and adults of all ages, and have dedicated my life to learning and teaching so that I may help others.

Training:

• Adult Psychiatry residency at Albany Medical Center

• Child & Adolescent Fellowship at the University of South Dakota.

• Completed the Professional Training Program through the Center for Mind Body Medicine

• Completed Basic Training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy through the Rozensweig Center for Rapid Recovery.

• Certified in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

• Currently enrolled in the Integrative Psychiatry Institute certification program.

Experience:

• Currently on the Board of Directors for PALS (Providing Autism Links & Support) which supports individuals with autism and their families through social, educational, and community-based programs.

• Attending physician in Des Moines, Iowa in a consultative outpatient clinic, a women’s residential substance use clinic, and as a supervisor to medical residents.

• Served on the Board of Directors for the Iowa Chapter of Children’s Advocacy Centers which advocates for children who are victims of abuse and provides training and resources across the state.
